Today we are joining 2BrownDawgs for their This ‘N That Thursday blog hop!
She says…
It’s a little of this and a little of that and everything in between…
Yesterday I posted a picture of the little robins, so today I thought I would share some more. It isn’t going to be long now and they will be leaving the nest. There are four little babies and I was surprised to find out that both the male and female take turns feeding them.
This is mom and dad, sorry a little blurry.
These next four are from today.
I have enjoyed watching these fascinating birds and their babies. Last year I found another nest and started to take pictures but then a big crow came along and well… I won’t go into the gruesome details but needless to say after loosing one baby I think the adults moved the others to a new location. I hope I am around the day they start to leave the nest so I can get more photos.
Well looking at the weather for the weekend looks like we might get some training in on Saturday. Hopefully we will be able to get some more water training in, I have been trying to get a great photo of one of the dogs launching themselves. I did get this one last week…
This is Dandy
And this one I took several years ago of Remington, sadly he passed away last year. Remmy was a wonderful boy!
And here is one of Cheyenne…
Well that wraps up Thursday, why don’t you grab the badge and join the fun!
This is a Blog Hop!
Thanks 2 Brown Dawgs

Ooh, all those bird shots are really neat! The Chessie water shots are too. Puts me in mind of dock diving, but of course, Hunt Training is “the real thing” 😉

Love to see the babies in the nest, all of our nests are too high in the trees to see. I did find a broken little blue egg under our pair tree today. And the parents really yell at me when I am out front with the girls:)

I was really fortunate the parents let me get close to photograph them and the nest. I’ve tried in the past with another nest but couldn’t get close enough and then a big crow came and snatched the babies 😦

Lovely pictures of the baby birds. I expect their parents are kept very busy trying to satisfy those always open beaks! 🙂
