Today we are joining our friends Jodi over at Heart Like A Dog and her co-hostess JoAnn Stancer from Sand Spring Chesapeakes for Follow-up Friday, the blog hop that lets you wrap up your week and leads you right into the weekend.

Thanks Jodi!

From last weeks

Follow-up Friday June 21, 2013

Gizmo asked…

“Is that flowering tree a crepe myrtle?”

This is an apple tree Gizmo.

Now I have a question for you, what is a crepe myrtle? I have not heard of that tree before.

Black and White Sunday

Sand Spring Chesapeakes asked…

“What the heck is that bug?”

Bongo said…

“What a strange looking creature.”

Miss Harper Lee asked…

“Is that a real dragonfly?”

easyweimaraner asked…

“Is it a dragonfly?”

Jodi at Heart Like A Dog asked…

“WTF is that? It’s scary. I hope in color it’s some non-scary.“

Miss Harper Lee and easyweimaraner you are right, it is a dragonfly which just so happens to be my favorite bug Smile

And for Jodi at Heart Like A Dog here is the original, do you still think it is scary?

and this one is edited with the editor JoAnn from Sand Spring Chesapeakes hooked me up with so I could add some color to a B&W photo…

If you would like to see how to add color to your B&W photos you can check it out on Sugar the Golden Retrievers blog here.

We love to receive awards and this blog has been awarded the Versatile Blogger Award by All Things Collie. Thank you and we are so honored to accept this award. If you haven’t yet visited them, pop over and say HI.

Well that wraps up our Friday, thanks to Jodi at Heart Like A Dog and her co-hostess JoAnn Stancer from Sand Spring Chesapeakes for hosting this hop. Why don’t you grab the badge and join in.

  1. Thanks for joining the blog hop Misty! I would have never known it was a bug but yes, I still find it scary. 🙂 I am not a big fan of bugs. The photo I liked best (which made it slightly less scary for me) was the one with the blue wings. hehe

    Have a great weekend!!

  2. Crepe myrtles are flowering trees that come in a variety of colors from pale pink to dark purple and when they bloom they are magnificent…They’re blooming right now around here and make driving through the neighborhood a joy…Love your dragonfly and I’ve also taken advantage of Sugar’s turtorial on adding a splash of color…it’s so easy and fun to do

  3. Congrats on your award. Very well deserved.

Tell our pal Jodi that dragonflies are some of the best bugs because they eat a lot of the gnatty bugs and mosquitoes that bug us!

We would love to hear from you!!
