Wordless Wednesday ~ A Boy And His Dog
Introducing Misty Shores Majestic Java
I absolutely love puppy updates and photos!! I received an email from one of the puppy people and this is what she said…
“He’s an absolutely wonderful dog, and we all love him!”
and
“We all absolutely love him, but one of my sons in particular seems to be ‘taking over’ the ownership of him. Nathan just adores Java!”
Java, don’t you just love that name, really suits him! When he was still here he had a couple different names, I called him two toes because he had two toes with just a couple white hairs and then when he went to Tennessee for a few weeks my friends called him Wilbur because he squealed like a little pig ![]()
Java has turned out to be a very handsome boy, but I knew he would, of course I am very partial! The next photo is the one I took the day he went to his new home and family. ![]()
Java’s family and the beginning to a wonderful new life!
I guess he’s a Michigan fan ![]()

Titan Update
I have been looking forward to Friday all week because this is the day I get to see my boy after two weeks. I wondered as I was driving to Dave and Michelle’s house if Titan would be as excited to see me as I am to see him…he was! ![]()
After loving on him for a bit we all went back to the pond to get him in for a swim and have him retrieve the bumper.
We did this for a little bit as it was just to hot to work for very long so I got in some more loving time while he rested a bit then Dave showed me what they have been working on.
This is an obedience dumbbell that he is using to teach Titan to hold.
The dogs must learn to be very consistent with their hold so they do not drop or leave their birds in the field or water and they do not release it until you tell them too; as you can see he is progressing nicely with this.
They are also working on picking the bumper off the ground to hold and will be moving onto walking hold over the next week.
Titan really seems to enjoy working, he was happy to see me but was thrilled to retrieve the bumper! I may be a little jealous ![]()
